Built in 1895, this home was a diamond in the rough. Every room was covered in 80s mauve and blue wallpaper. The kitchen was stuck in the 80s and every room in the house required renovation. As for the exterior of the home, it needed both cosmetic and structural repair.
The third floor had an unfinished walk up attic space which we transformed into a beautiful master bedroom suite. For that bathroom we found period style pedestal sinks which compliment the original tub.
We matched the original house moldings, in areas where it was missing or needed to be replaced after researching and ordering a custom blade so we could create the molding as needed. Our expertise is in old homes, and we kept as much of the original home as possible.
We restored the grand staircase and recreated the vintage paneling on the ceiling.
Additionally, we remodeled a spectacular kitchen with custom cabinets and butler’s pantry was renovated with charming elegance and grandeur.
Color placement is extremely important and requires an understanding of a home’s architecture. We selected colors for the decorative elements, ceilings, and exterior to compliment the period of the home.
